We love running Kingdom Firewood. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication but reading our customer reviews gives us the motivation that we need to keep going! However, firewood is very much a seasonal business so we are often asked what we do in the summer months. Unfortunately the answer is not that we are away sunning ourselves in Hawaii! Instead we focus our time on our other small business, Treeworks Fife.
Treeworks Fife was founded by Callum in 2014 and he continues to run the business along side Kingdom Firewood, with my help of course! Callum comes from a long line of horticulturists. His Grandfather was born in the quirky little cottage in the middle of Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh as his Great Grandfather was the head gardener at the time. This love of plants and trees has passed through the generations and now Callum is qualified in many aspects of tree surgery. Treeworks Fife was one of the main inspirations for Kingdom Firewood as we were often asked for firewood but rarely had any that was seasoned for long enough to be suitable to burn. Kiln drying wood solves this problem!
There are a few members of the Treeworks Fife team and each bring their own different skill sets. Tree surgery can be dangerous work and that is why we take safety very seriously. Each member of our team is trained to their specific City and Guilds NTPC level and we always make sure that our equipment is in good working order and up to safety standards before we arrive at a job. There a numerous customer reviews on Treeworks Fife’s Facebook page if you are interested in getting any treework carried out.
The services that Treeworks Fife offer include:
